Full Mouth Rehab
Whether you struggle with multiple missing teeth, discolouration or even both, Forum Dentistry offers full mouth rehab services to help you revitalise your oral health and achieve an aesthetically pleasing outcome.
Bad teeth can be the source of other general health issues, and can also cause a lack of confidence. When more than a few teeth are damaged or missing, people struggle to eat, drink and even speak properly. But thanks to full mouth rehab services that we perform here at Forum Dentistry, it is possible to revitalise your teeth and achieve a healthy, natural-looking result.
About Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Full mouth rehabilitation is when the majority of the teeth in the mouth are restored to create a brand new smile. Full mouth rehabilitation is an opportunity to start again after your mouth has been deteriorated by cavities, gum disease, accidents or bite problems. This treatment often involves a combination of crowns, veneers, dental implants, inlays and fixed bridgework.
One of the most important aspects of successful full mouth rehabilitation is obtaining the correct bite and TMJ position. Full mouth rehab uses a combination of all of the skills at Forum Dentistry through many years of advanced and continuing dental education including TMJ, bite and treatment planning.
Full mouth reconstruction
Full mouth reconstruction used to mean a long protracted, disjointed series of procedures with a difficult-to-see endpoint that could even include extracting all the teeth and creating dentures to take their place. Now, because of improved dental hygiene, people get to keep their natural teeth longer. However, in time, the teeth become worn down and discoloured. Plus, there may be a collection of mismatched old dental work. The bite tends to misalign, causing TMJ/facial pain and neck tension, and the teeth no longer support the facial structure, as a result causing a tired, aged appearance.
Temporary crowns are worn for 4-6 weeks, while the laboratory custom-creates all-porcelain crowns are seated and permanently bonded to the prepared teeth. The time required to complete a full mouth rehabilitation treatment can range from as little as 2 to 3 visits to 6 or more, depending on the complexity of the case and the desired result.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation at Forum Dentistry
Not only can full mouth reconstruction correct all these problems, but you can also pre-select the colour, shape, size and arrangement of your soon-to-be perfect teeth and smile.
At Forum Dentistry, we are praised for our upfront and personalised approach. We make sure that each one of our patients understands which oral health problems they struggle with, how we can treat them, and what they can expect as an outcome after a full mouth rehab. We explain in advance which surgical and cosmetic procedures they need to undergo and thus show them as clearly as possible what the results will look like in the end.
We are focused on achieving the most optimal and natural outcome that will restore the functionality of your teeth and make them visually appealing.
Results may vary in individual cases. The photo(s) used are stock photos of people who are not patients of Forum Dentistry, employees or affiliates.
